Rangers will complete the signing of playmaker Niko Kranjcar this week, according to The Mail.
The 31-year-old - now at New York Cosmos - has been heavily linked with a switch to the Gers in recent weeks and the move finally looks like materialising.
The Mail report that Kranjcar will fly into Glasgow within the next 48 hours and Rangers could announce the deal as early as Wednesday.
If true, it would represent a fine signing by Rangers boss Mark Warburton, who is charged with the task of ensuring his side enjoy a successful first season back in the Scottish Premiership following a four-year absence.
The Croatia international has been capped 81 times for his country and has Champions League experience following his three-year stint with Tottenham Hotspur, where he netted 11 goals in 72 Premier League outings.
He would become Rangers' sixth signing of the summer, following the likes of Joey Barton and Jordan Rossiter to Ibrox, while Matt Crooks and Josh Windass signed pre-contract agreements in January.
