The former Newcastle United and Hull City man, who spent five years on the books at St James’ Park and an unsuccessful four months at the KC Stadium, has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks.
But now the Nice playmaker is thought to have caught the eye of Sevilla, with L’Equipe reporting that the Europa League holders have offered him a three year deal.
However, Marca understand that it won’t be straight forward for the Andalusians to acquire the french forward, due to his high wage demands and interest from elsewhere.
Ben Arfa has undergone a renaissance at Nice since joining the club after being released by Newcastle in January 2015.
Ben Arfa is a wanted man
The attacking midfielder, known for his technique and flair, made 32 appearances last season, with an impressive return of 17 goals.
His form has been key to Nice’s excellent campaign, one that saw them qualify for European football next season by virtue of a fourth place finish.

And, whilst interest from Barcelona and PSG has seemingly cooled, new Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli is reportedly keen to make Ben Arfa his first acquisition.
Sampaoli was recently appointed as the successor to popular manager Unai Emery, who left the club after winning their third consecutive Europa League title.
