HITC Sport understands several Scottish clubs are eyeing the former Cardiff defender.
Former Cardiff City and Aberdeen defender Kevin McNaughton could be set for a return to his native Scotland this summer with several club's chasing his signature, HITC Sport understands.
McNaughton is currently a free agent after seeing out his contract at Championship new boys Wigan Athletic.
The 33-year-old joined Wigan last summer on a free transfer from Cardiff following a nine-year spell at the Welsh club.
McNaughton made just three appearances for Gary Caldwell's men as they won the League One Championship last term.
The versatile defender, who joined Cardiff in 2006, was a member of the Bluebirds side that won promotion to the Premier League in the 2012-13 season and also helped the club reach the FA Cup and League Cup final during his time in Wales.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in signing the experienced defender this summer, feeling he would prove to be a valuable addition to their plans ahead of next season.
Dundee United are also keen on McNaughton as they look to build a side capable of winning promotion back to the Scottish top flight at the first time of asking.
