The game finished in a goalless draw, meaning that Switzerland have progressed to the knockout stages of the European Championship in France as Group A runners-up.

Against France on Sunday evening, Xhaka had a pass accuracy of 89%, created one chance, attempted two dribbles, won 60% of his tackles and 60% of his headers, and made three clearances and two blocks.
Arsenal announced the signing of the Switzerland international midfielder from German club Borussia Monchengladbach on a long-term contract last month.
During the 2015-16 campaign for Monchengladbach, Xhaka scored three goals, created 22 chances, had a pass accuracy of 85% and a shot accuracy of 48%, and won 90 headers, 30 dribbles and 56 tackles in 28 Bundesliga appearances.
