The Besiktas winger has already stated that he would be interested in a move to West Ham, and it seems that a deal could go through.
Bilic is keen to sign the 24-year-old, but he admits that the transfer is far from a certainty at this stage.
“Yes I want Gokhan Tore, will it happen? Nobody can say yet but we want him,” he confirmed (quoted by Turkish Football).
Bilic worked with Tore during his time in charge at Besiktas, and clearly feels that he would be an upgrade on his current options at the Olympic Stadium.
Tore is renowned as one of the finest players currently plying their trade in Turkish football, but he wants a new challenge.
West Ham have already strengthened their attacking line up by bringing in Sofiane Feghouli, but Bilic is keen to bolster his options even further.
The Croatian manager has plenty of money to spend this summer, as the Hammers look to push on after their seventh placed finish last season.
West Ham have also been linked with the likes of Callum Wilson, Carlos Bacca and Alexandre Lacazette.
