The Hamilton Academical goalie is a free agent this summer.
Northern Ireland's Michael McGovern punches clear
This week has seen Leeds United linked with wanting a British number one goalkeeper for next season, with Lee Camp of Rotherham United and Lee Grant of Derby County linked with the club by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
But perhaps there is a British goalkeeper at Euro 2016 that Leeds should consider?
Northern Ireland's Michael McGovern makes a save
The player in question is Northern Ireland’s number one stopper Michael McGovern.
He has handled himself brilliantly for his national team in recent times and has really come of age in the past few years at Hamilton Academical. He has handled himself extremely well against Poland and Ukraine in his first two games in the competition and looks capable of handling himself on a bigger stage.

He is also out of contract this summer. The 31-year-old is said to be attracting plenty of interest but Leeds would do well to swoop in and bring the international team-mate of Stuart Dallas’ into the club for the 2016-17 season.
Leeds United's Marco Silvestri looks dejected
Leeds currently have three goalkeeper options in Marco Silvestri, Ross Turnbull and youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell, so any move would likely see one of those players leave.
But if it is a British goalkeeper that Leeds want, not many represent better value for money than McGovern.
