Arsenal are interested in signing Stevan Jovetic from Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Jovetic initially joined Inter from City in the summer of 2015 on an 18-month loan deal with a view to a permanent contract, as reported by The Daily Mail.
The Montenegro international signed a permanent contract for three years with Inter earlier this summer, as quoted by Football Italia in May.
It has now been reported by Il Corriere dello Sport that the Italian outfit do not have the 26-year-old in their plans for next season.
According to the Italian publication, Russian side Spartak have shown an interest in the former City forward and have already made contact with his camp.
Il Corriere dello Sport has also credited Arsenal with an interest in the former Fiorentina and Partizan forward.
Jovetic, who can play as a forward, second striker, attacking midfielder or winger, scored six goals and created 32 chances in 26 Serie A appearances for Inter during the 2015-16 season.
