Thomas has been linked with clubs on both sides of the Channel after a sparkling season for Ligue 1 outfit Angers.
Thomas has been linked with a move to the Premier League
Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion have entered the race to sign French defender Romain Thomas, the Croydon Advertiser has reported.
The 28-year-old, who joined Angers in 2013 and has since made 92 appearances for the Ligue 1 side, has been heavily linked with a move away this summer.
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is keen to strengthen his defence for next season
West Brom manager Tony Pulis is also thought to be an admirer of the 28-year-old
The centre-back was a key part in his current employers’ ninth-place finish last term, and has reportedly attracted the interest of both Monaco and Marseille.
But a move to the Premier League could prove a tempting prospect for Thomas, with Palace and West Brom both understood to be keen on a deal.

The release of Adrian Mariappa last week has left Alan Pardew in the market for a new central defender, while Baggies boss Tony Pullis is also reportedly keen to strengthen his side’s defensive options.
If Thomas does opt for one of the two clubs, he is likely to face the other on the opening day of the new Premier League season, with the two teams set to meet at Selhurst Park on August 13th.
