Leeds United, Barnsley, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bristol City are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United’s Ashley Fletcher in the summer transfer window.
Leeds United are ready to meet Ashley Fletcher’s wage demands in order to sign him in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
Fletcher is on the books of Manchester United at the moment and is reportedly wanted by a number of Championship clubs.
According to The Sun, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Barnsley and Bristol City are all interested in signing the 20-year-old striker this summer.
However, according to the report, Leeds have closed in on the signing of the England Under-20 international.
It has been reported that Fletcher wants as much as £7,000 per week as salary, and that Leeds are ready to meet his wage demands.
It has also been claimed that the Championship club are determined to agree on a compensation free with United for the recruitment of the talented youngster.
Fletcher played the second half of the 2015-16 season on loan at Barnsley.
The youngster had a successful spell at Oakwell, scoring nine goals and in 27 appearances, and helped them get promoted from League One to the Championship.
Leeds failed to finish in the top 10 of the Championship during the 2015-16 campaign, but they will be aiming for the playoffs next season.
