Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci has been linked with a move to AC Pisa in the summer transfer window.

Italian club AC Pisa are interested in signing Giuseppe Bellusci from Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to Il Tirreno.

Bellusci has been on the books of Leeds since 2014 and has a contract with the Championship club until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Pisa gained promotion from Lega Pro at the end of last season and will feature in Serie B during the 2016-17 campaign.

Bellusci created eight chances in 27 Championship appearances for Leeds last season.

The defender had a pass accuracy of 71% and a shot accuracy of 27%, and won 43 headers, 13 dribbles and 52 tackles.

During the 2014-15 campaign, the 26-year-old central defender scored two goals and created nine chances in 30 Championship matches for the West Yorkshire outfit.

The former Ascoli and Catania man had a pass accuracy of 73% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and won 54 headers, 17 dribbles and 57 tackles.

Leeds, who last featured in the Premier League in 2004, endured a disappointing 2015-16 season and failed to finish in the top 10 of the Championship.
