Premier League target Jeison Murillo admits uncertainty over his future

Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Everton, Liverpool, Arsenal, Leicester City and Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan’s Jeison Murillo in the summer transfer window.

Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo has admitted to Fcinternews.it that he is uncertain about his future.

Murillo is on the books of Inter at the moment and has a contract with the Italian giants until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The 24-year-old centre-back, who is on international duty with Colombia at the Copa America Centenario at the moment, has admitted that he does not know about his future, but he has made it clear that he is happy at Inter.

"I don't what's going to happen, I'm focused only on Colombia and Copa America,” Murillo told Fcinternews.it. “Then I'll think of it, but I'm happy at Inter.”

Interested clubs

A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Murillo from Inter in the summer transfer window.

According to a report from the print edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (12/06/2016) and later posted online by Football Italia, Tottenham Hotspur have been offered their pick of Marcelo Brozovic or Jeison Murillo in return for Erik Lamela.

Il Correire Dello Sport reported last month of West Ham United, Everton and Stoke City’s interest in the centre-back.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have credited Arsenal and Leicester City with interest in the former Granada defender, while Italian news outlet Leggo have claimed that Liverpool want him.

Jeison Murillo stats

Murillo scored two goals and created seven chances in 34 Serie A appearances for Inter last season.

The central defender had a pass accuracy of 87% and a shot accuracy of 33%, and won 64 headers, 19 dribbles and 51 tackles.
