Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea stars revel, as Romelu Lukaku scored twice for Belgium against the Republic of Ireland at Euro 2016.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Belgium’s win against the Republic of Ireland on Saturday evening.
Belgium retained their chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the European Championship in France with a 3-0 victory.
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku was the star of the show in the Euro 2016 Group E match at Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux in Bordeaux.
The former Chelsea striker scored twice for the Belgians, who bounced back perfectly from the 2-0 defeat to Italy in their opening game at the tournament.
Tottenham and Belgium international defender Vertonghen has taken to Twitter to revel in the win.
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and Chelsea custodian Thibaut Courtois have also taken to Twitter to express their delight at the win.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux in Bordeaux on Saturday evening, Belgium had 57% of the possession, took 17 shots of which seven were on target, and earned five corners.
The Republic of Ireland had 43% of the possession, took 10 shots of which none was on target, and earned four corners.
