Aston Villa are likely to lose plenty of players this summer and a report in Spain is now suggesting the two teams from La Liga who are said to be interested in signing one of their failed summer recruits from last summer.

Jordan Veretout is said to be a target for La Liga side Celta Vigo by Atlantico – who also suggest Gustavo Poyet would like to bring him to Real Betis.

Veretout arrived at Aston Villa from Ligue 1 side Nantes in the summer for a fee reported by the Daily Mail to be in the region of £8 million.

He was one of many recruits from French football last summer at Villa Park. However, he failed to gel at the club and Villa ended up finishing bottom of the Premier League.

Playing in the Championship does not seem to appeal to the player and now the La Liga outfits are set to offer him a move to the Spanish top-flight.
