The USA have booked their place in the last four of the prestigious competition courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Ecuador.
Clint Dempsey put the Americans in the lead midway through the first half, and Gyasi Zardes doubled the advantage on 65 minutes.
Michael Arroyo halved the deficit for Ecuador just minutes later, but it was the USA who won the quarter-final tie at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
Yedlin, who is just 22 years of age and can play as a right-back or as a wide midfielder, did not feature in the game due to suspension.
The Tottenham youngster was sent off in the USA’s 1-0 defeat of Paraguay in their final Group A game.
The former Seattle Sounders FC defender, though, is happy to see his national team progress to the semi-finals of the Copa America Centenario.
