Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony says that West Ham United midfielder Martin Samuelsen is an incredible talent in the making.

Samuelsen spent a portion of last season on loan at Peterborough, and played a rotational role for the League One club.

The 19-year-old caught the eye with his dazzling array of skills, and there is now great excitement about the youngster’s future at the Olympic Stadium.

MacAnthony agrees that Samuelsen will be a star in the coming years, providing he starts showing a greater end product.

Samuelsen has made two first team appearances for West ham to date, which both came in the Europa League.

Samuelsen also made 20 appearances for Peterborough last season, but only nine of these displays were as a starter.

Samuelsen’s impressive form for Posh did not go unnoticed, and he has already been capped by Norway’s senior international team.

Posh are expected to bid to try and sign Samuelsen on loan again next season, but whether he will agree to a move remains to be seen.
