Another key set of games feature today in the European Championships as sides look to book their place in the knock-out stages.

Italy take on Sweden in Toulouse with Antonio Conte's side look to remain top of Group E while both Croatia and Spain have the chance to secure their passage from Group D as they take on the Czech Republic in Saint Etienne and Turkey in Nice respectively.

The Italians win over Belgium was one of the more impressive displays from the opening round of games and they will be looking to replicate that kind of performance, and result, against a Sweden side which may have been fortunate to get a point against the Republic of Ireland - and will need possess more of a threat to break down Italy.

Croatia could have won their opening game against Turkey by a wider margin in their opener, but the Turks did present a decent threat in the first half of that encounter. If the Czech Republic put in the kind of performance they did against Spain, defensively, then Croatia could have their hands full - while Spain will look at turning their dominance into more goals, as they relied on a late Gerard Pique header against the Czech's earlier on in the tournament.

Here is a look at three players who could be worth watching in today's games:

Emanuele Giaccherini

After being something of an outcast at Sunderland the former Juventus forward looks as though he could be a star in this Italy side during these Championships - certainly if his display against Belgium is anything to go by. He will need to back it up with another good performance after his well taken goal in Lyon earlier on this week.

It looks as if this is the perfect opportunity for him to display his skills to any potential new club.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

He didn't exactly show his best in the game against the Republic of Ireland - though he did have a massive role in Ciaran Clark own goal which secured Sweden a point in their Group E opener. He will need to show his very best against stubborn Italian defence, as his side could do with a win in order to put themselves in a prime position to qualify for the knock-out stages.

Spain Training Session - EURO 2016Spain Training Session - EURO 2016

The Spain and Chelsea forward seems to be looking for a return to Barcelona this summer, according to a report from Sky Sports - among other media outlets. He was a late substitute in the opening game against the Czech Republic but given the lack of cutting edge from the forwards that day, there is scope for him to push for a start against Croatia
