Former Everton boss Roberto Martinez has reportedly been spotted holding discussions with Anderlecht officials.

Martinez is now looking for a job, following his sacking from Everton towards the end of last season.

The Spanish boss departed Everton last campaign, after the Toffees had a disappointing season.

Martinez left after 37 matches, with Everton sitting in 12th place in the Premier League table.

Everton went on to finish in 11th position, but last campaign could only be considered as a disappointment.

The Merseyside club have turned to Ronald Koeman to replace Martinez now, but it is believed that the former Wigan manager is eager to get back into management quickly, with Anderlecht a possibility.

The Belgian side are currently manageress, following the departure Besnik Hasi.

Anderlecht finished in third place in last season's Jupiler Pro League, which was deemed as a poor finish by the club's hierarchy.
