Arsenal's new Swiss recruit Granit Xhaka spoke exclusively to the club's official website and discussed what he feels was the highlight of his career.

The 23-year-old pin-pointed a victory over Manchester United in a Champions League fixture while he was playing for Basel in 2011. Xhaka was just 19-years-old at the time, and explained to what that special night meant to him at such a young age:

"I think the best moment of my career was a game against Manchester United for Basel. We played in Manchester and drew 3-3, then we played at home and won 2-1 to knock them out and progress to the next round. It was big. Basel were a smaller club than Manchester United and to beat them 2-1 was a very nice moment.”

Following Xhaka's move to London, he will now have the chance to play against Manchester United on a regular occasion, and with Jose Mourinho at the helm at Old Trafford, they will once again be a huge threat to Arsenal's chances of winning the Premier League title.
