The Italian side are willing to send two of their players to White Hart Lane, a report claims.
Lamela has put his slow Spurs start behind him
While the Italian giants are not as, er, giant-y as they used to be, it'd be difficult to turn a nose up at the duo in question, Jeison Murillo and Marcelo Brozovic.
Where would Murillo fit in at Spurs?
But with one (Murillo) a central defender and the other an attacking central midfield player, they're not the most ideal makeweights.
Spurs, of course, had the joint best defence in the Premier League last season, with Toby Alderweireld standing out alongside Jan Vertonghen and briefly Kevin Wimmer, while a more defensive-minded midfielder is thought to be on the club's agenda this summer.
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino may be reluctant to lose Lamela in any case, but if he changes his mind, he should consider the following Inter stars instead.
Perisic has been a hit in Italy
The Croatian was impressive in his opening Euro 2016 outing against Turkey, carrying on his fine form at club level - which saw 10 goals and six assists arrive in 41 matches for Wolfsburg and Inter combined last term. An attacking midfielder (RLC for those with Football Manager backgrounds), Perisic would be a like-for-like Lamela replacement.
Kondogbia: The midfielder Poch has been looking for?
Spurs fans will have fond memories of Kondogbia, who shone as Monaco dumped Arsenal out of the 2014-15 Champions League. In doing so, the imposing defensive midfield player bagged a £23 million switch to the San Siro, though Inter's links to Yaya Toure could make him a more attainable target. Signing the Frenchman could save the Londoners splashing out on Southampton's Victor Wanyama.
