With the Premier League fixtures coming out earlier today, we predict the results of West Ham United’s first six matches.

Chelsea (Away) - Lose

Italy's coach Antonio Conte.

Chelsea may not have had the most impressive season last time around, but they will be determined to impress under new boss Antonio Conte.

There should be a great atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, and this looks like a tough opener for West Ham.

Bournemouth (Home) - Win

Slaven Bilic’s side struggled against Bournemouth at home last campaign, but they will be determined to start well at the Olympic Stadium.

West Ham should win this one without too many complications.

Manchester City (Away) - Lose

Bayern Munich coach Josep Guardiola

Another tough away trip for the Hammers, where Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will be eager to impress.

Watford (Home) - Win

West Ham should come out on top in this London derby match, if they play to their potential.

West Bromwich Albion (Away) - Win

West Ham brushed aside West Brom at the Hawthorns last term, and they look set to be a stronger outfit next time around. Bilic’s side should be confident of winning.

Southampton (Home) - Win

Southampton’s plans for next season have been thrown into jeopardy by Ronald Koeman’s departure, and the south coast club could still be recovering from the Dutchman’s move to Everton when they meet West Ham at the end of September.

Points: 12 - Four wins from six games would represent a positive start for the Hammers, as they aim to challenge for a top six place next season.
