A new club has entered the running for Hibernian striker Jason Cummings, who has been heavily linked with Rangers, the Scottish Sun reports.

Cummings, who scored 25 goals in all competitions last season, is in the final year of his contract at Easter Road and has been tipped to move on after the Hibees' failure to gain promotion.

The 20-year-old will not be short of suitors it seems, with English sides Wolverhampton Wanderers (Mail), Leeds United and Derby County (both Record) all said to be keen alongside the Gers (again, Record).

But it is not only on British shores where Cummings is attracting attention, with Nevzat Aydin, the vice-president of Turkish giants Tranbzonspor admitting his side's interest in the Scotland Under-21 international.

"Jason Cummings is a possibility," Aydin said, as quoted by the Scottish Sun. "He is on our list of transfer targets and we are hoping to conclude a deal for him."

It is understood that Rangers are keen to sign a new striker this summer, with Sone Aluko, who has been set for release by Hull City, the latest name linked (Sun).

Cummings could prove a difficult catch, however, after tensions boiled over in last month's Scottish Cup final between the Glasgow side and HIbs.

Neil Lennon's side want £1 million for the Edinburgh-born star (Scottish Sun).
