Portugal's Andre Gomes in action with Iceland's Gylfi Sigurdsson and Ari Skulason
Spanish football pundit Guillem Balague has provided an update on the future of Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes.
Gomes is in France with Portugal at Euro 2016, and impressed despite his country only drawing with Iceland in their opening game of the tournament.

The Telegraph touted Gomes as a Chelsea target a year ago, while The Manchester Evening News reported this month along with many other outlets, that he is a target for Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
SkySports yesterday reported Chelsea have re-entered the chase for the midfielder. Balague, commenting on Twitter last night, said the Blues have made a bid for the prospect, while United are yet to do so.
On Andre Gomes: Valencia, which want to keep him, have offers from Chelsea and Juventus. Manchester United and Barça want him but no offer— Guillem Balague (@GuillemBalague) June 15, 2016
This contradicts a report earlier this week in Spanish newspaper Marca which said after Juventus' signing of Miralem Pjanic from Roma they were no longer in the hunt for Gomes, adding that Manchester United were the only side interested in him.

Chelsea's interest certainly complicates matters for United, but Gomes shares an agent with Jose Mourinho, which potentially gives them the edge over the Blues.
