Everton are reportedly keen on signing Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Everton fans seem largely unenthused by the rumours that they are targeting Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul.
According to a report in the Guardian, Krul is on Everton’s wishlist as they look to sign a new goalkeeper.
The Newcastle goalkeeper could be made available for transfer this summer, following the Tyensiders’ relegation to the Championship.
However, Everton fans are hoping that new boss Ronald Koeman looks elsewhere.
While many of the Toffees’ supporters realise that signing a new goalkeeper will be key, they are hoping their side shows more ambition.
Tim Krul is a good keeper. He's a step up from last season. But I'm sure we could out and get someone better. Forster preferably.

Not excited by Tim Krul. Would sooner have:

Asmir Begovic
Fernando Muslera
Fraser Forster
Jack Butland
Either of the above #efc
If Moshiri wants to spend big, then the likes of Krul, Long etc wont be targeted. He will want the best, which they are clearly not! #EFC

Witsel looks like a genuine target then. How good is he? Have to admit I think we can do better than Tim Krul though. #EFC

I'll be devastated if we get Krul. Worrying thing is, @pjoyceexpress is usually spot on. Witsel however #EFC

Swerve Tim Krul right off but if we got Witsel oh my days we're going to win the World Cup

Tim Krul? Nah, not for me

Everton reportedly have £100 million to spend this summer - and fans of the Merseyside club seem to be hoping for a more high profile signing.
Newcastle are unlikely to stand in Krul’s way if a big bid comes in, as they have both Rob Elliot and Karl Darlow in reserve.
Everton, meanwhile, currently have just Joel Robles as the only recognised senior goalkeeper in their first-team squad.
