Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini was in fine form as Italy beat Belgium 2-0 on Monday evening.

The Italians kicked off their Euro 2016 campaign on Monday as they took on Belgium in a clash of Group E’s heavyweights.

It proved to be a fine evening for Antonio Conte’s side as they ran out 2-0 winners in a highly impressive performance.

One of their key men was Giaccherini as he scored the opening goal of the game following slack defending from the Belgian back line.
