According to The Courier, Championship clubs in England, Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion, sent scouts to watch the 17-year-old in action during the 2015-16 campaign.

The Scottish youngster featured mostly for Dunfermline’s Under-20 side this past season and made his breakthrough into the first team towards the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Crossan’s current contract with Dunfermline has run out, according to The Courier, but the Scottish Championship side have offered him a new deal.

The teenager is a talented young forward and is one for the future. Celtic’s (reported) interest in Crossan suggests that they are looking at long-term success.

The Bhoys are the dominant force in Scottish football at the moment and will be expected to win the Scottish Premiership title next season.
