Crystal Palace's Adrian Mariappa looks dejected after losing the FA Cup
Crystal Palace have released FA Cup final starter Adrian Mariappa, the club have confirmed via their official website.
Mariappa leaves the club along with strikers Marouane Chamakh and Emmanuel Adebayor, as Alan Pardew looks to shake up his squad.

Mariappa is currently on international duty with Jamaica at the Copa America, and the 29-year-old still has plenty more to offer.
The centre-back would be an ideal signing for Leeds United, who have a potential opportunity to cash in on Giuseppe Bellusci, with The Express reporting four Italian teams are interested in him.

He would instantly strengthen the Whites, and mixed in with Liam Cooper and Sol Bamba, would give the club a trio of centre backs they could really believe in.
The former Watford and Reading defender almost became a teammate of Garry Monk in 2012, with The Mail reporting Swansea City tried to buy him.

Despite his prominent role in the FA Cup Final, Mariappa struggled for football last season, picked only three times in the Premier League by Alan Pardew, and to that end his release is unsurprising.
A move into the Championship would be positive for him in terms of getting to play regularly, and several teams will no doubt be interested in his services.
The experienced defender has played previously in England's second tier, and is just the type of player Leeds should be trying to recruit if they are to build and strengthen their foundation for a promotion challenging campaign.
