Nottingham Forest are still on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Dougie Freedman.

Fawaz Al-Hasawi has promised Nottingham Forest supporters that the club’s future will become much clearer in the coming weeks.

Forest have now fallen behind with their pre-season plans, with no manager in place and Al-Hasawi’s future as owner in doubt.

The Reds have been said to be of interest to Greek buyers, but as yet no takeover bid has gone through.

More pressingly, Forest still do not have a manager, despite parting company with Dougie Freedman over three months ago.

Freedman was replaced by Paul Williams until the end of last season, but the caretaker boss did not do enough to land the job on a permanent basis.

As a result, Forest are now looking for a new manager to take them forward, but their search has been a long one.

The Midlands side initially went after Gus Poyet, but he opted to move to Real Betis instead, and they have appeared not to have a back-up plan.

A majority of Forest fans are now hugely frustrated about the lack of clarity over goings on at their club currently, and they expressed their concerns to Al-Hasawi on Twitter.
