Francesco Marroccu is reportedly heading to Leeds United.

Leeds United will have a new sporting director from July 1, report Italian website Sardegna Sport.
Francesco Marroccu has decided to finish his role at Ascoli, to take the job at Leeds United, the outlet claims, and will join the Whites once his contract expires at the end of June.
Marroccu worked under Cellino at Cagliari, and is well known to the club president.

Leeds United have been without a sporting director since Nicola Salerno departed the club a year ago, but Cellino told The Telegraph earlier this year he planned to appoint one.
Marroccu was linked with joining Leeds last summer by Tutto Mercato Web but it did not materialise and he took the job at Ascoli instead.
One deal he carried out between the two clubs was bringing Tommasso Bianchi to Ascoli from Leeds on loan mid-season.

Leeds United earlier this month appointed Garry Monk as head coach, who will be expected to work alongside Marroccu as the club seek to put together a campaign where they challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
