The Leeds United winger came off the bench against Poland at the weekend.
Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas had to wait for his Euro 2016 chance after being named on the bench for Northern Ireland’s clash with Poland on Sunday.
But while the 25-year-old will have been frustrated not to have been in the starting line-up he was called on just after half-time as his side attempted to get off to the best possible start in Group C.
Unfortunately for Dallas and his teammates that did not happen, with Arkadiusz Milik scoring the only goal of the game in the 51st minute, and Michael O’Neill’s side now have it all to do with matches against Germany and Ukraine on the horizon.
That said, Leeds player Dallas offered his country an additional attacking threat when he came on and it would be surprising if he did not feature from the outset in the next clash on Thursday.
Dallas played 49 times for Leeds last season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in the process, and his country could do with him creating another when they take on Ukraine later this week.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what fans thought of the Leeds winger’s second-half performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
