Aston Villa fans do not appear to be concerned about reports in L'Equipe suggesting that Jordan Veretout is keen to leave Villa Park.
Veretout reportedly does not believe his future lies at Villa now that they are playing in the Championship.
The French midfielder appears to feel that he has the ability to play at a higher level than the second tier.
Villa fans are not in agreement with Veretout’s beliefs and, on the whole, they are not concerned about his departure.
The central midfielder did not impress at Villa Park last campaign, and judging by the reaction on Twitter he will not be missed if he does leave.

I don't think Veretout ever settled at Villa if his heart isn't in it then it is best to sell him he clearly wants to leave the club. #avfc— Nigel Moore (@Moorski7) June 13, 2016
#AVFC Jordan Veretout 'didn't imagine playing in the Championship' when signing for Villa— bruceamc (@golf_villan) June 13, 2016
Entirely appropriate to your ability, Monsieur!
Veretout wants out its shame because he isnt a bad player but not going to lose sleep over it dont want players who dont wanna be at Villa— Dan Elliker (@Dan_Elliker) June 12, 2016
For me Jordan Veretout didn't live up to expectations last term. Too slow for top flight English football, would happily let him go #avfc >— Ryan (@RyanPitcher) June 12, 2016
Veretout only joined Villa last summer, but he was one of a number of signings who failed to work out.
If Veretout does leave Villa he is likely to be one a number of players who departs the Midlands club this summer.
Villa are expected to have a clear out in the upcoming transfer window, as they aim to build a squad capable of bouncing straight back from relegation.
