Crystal Palace's Damien Delaney has signed a one-year contract extension with the club
Crystal Palace have confirmed via their official website that experienced duo Damien Delaney and Julian Speroni have both signed one-year contract extensions with the club.
The experienced Eagles pair have 15 years service between them at Selhurst Park and will now be adding to that total.
Delaney, 34, was a mainstay in the Palace side last term making 32 league appearances, while Speroni was a peripheral figure in the South London club's Premier League campaign, appearing only twice.
Julian Speroni has established himself as a cult hero with the fans in his time at the club
Speroni, 37, has developed somewhat of a cult status at Selhurst Park since his move from Scottish side Dundee 12 years ago, and despite his lack of playing time he remains an important figure among the Palace squad.
Alan Pardew will be delighted two of his leaders have extended their current deals with the club
Alan Pardew's men suffered an horrendous second half of their Premier League campaign last term, but just managed to remove themselves from relegation trouble.
They must look to improve their squad over the summer, but keeping hold of two huge figures in the dressing room will give them a much needed boost as they look forward to the 2016/17 season.
