Croatia beat Turkey 1-0 in Paris this afternoon to get their Euro 2016 campaign underway - but most of the discussion surrounding the game has been around Slaven Bilic's punditry.
The two teams kicked off Group D at the Parc des Princes, and Croatia claimed a 1-0 win after a superb volley from Luka Modric opened the scoring.
The win puts Croatia in top spot in Group D ahead of Spain's clash with the Czech Republic on Monday, but it was the punditry of Bilic that caught the eye.
West Ham manager Bilic is working for ITV as a pundit during Euro 2016, and having both played for and managed Croatia, it was no surprise that he was called upon to offer some insight.
What we saw was Bilic offer a punditry masterclass; he was engaging, enthusiastic, knowledgeable about both teams and offered outstanding tactical analysis.
Bilic is already a West Ham hero, but fans took to Twitter during and after his TV appearance to praise him, acknowledging how lucky they are to have him as Hammers boss.
Others urged co-chairman David Gold to keep Bilic happy, and many echoed that they could listen to Bilic talk about football for hours - and former Hammers star Trevor Sinclair even added his own praise for the West Ham boss too.
