Sunderland are prepared to sell Emanuele Giaccherini for just £2 million, according to reports from talkSPORT.

Many believed that Sunderland had managed to pull off a major coup after securing the services of Italian international Emanuele Giaccherini from Juventus back in the summer of 2013.

However, Giaccherini could not show his best form at the Stadium of Light and following two difficult seasons, the attacking midfielder made a move back to Italy by joining Bologna on a season long loan deal last summer.

Giaccherini found a new lease of life at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, scoring 7 goals in 28 Serie A appearances and the 31-year-old has been rewarded for his fine form with a place in the Italian national team for the 2016 European Championships.

While Giaccherini may have managed to find his best form last season, Sunderland are not too keen on retaining the services of the Italian and now according to reports from talkSPORT, it has been claimed that the Black Cats are ready to offload the attacker for just £2 million this summer.

The likes of Torino, Lazio and Fiorentina are all believed to be interested in signing Giaccherini and the 31-year-old will surely be looking forward to sealing a permanent move back to Italy following the European Championships.
