Contract talks between Rangers and manager Mark Warburton have broken down at the last minute, according to The Daily Express.
It has been reported by The Daily Express that talks over a new deal have broken down.
However, according to the report, Warburton will not leave Rangers this summer and will remain in charge of the first team next season.
The Englishman has done a brilliant job at Ibrox so far, guiding the Glasgow giants from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers also clinched the Scottish Challenge Cup this past season and reached the final of the Scottish Cup.
While some Rangers could be concerned about negotiations over a new contract (reportedly) breaking down, there is still time for the two parties to come to an agreement.
If the Gers continue to get positive results under Warburton, then the two parties could resume talks next season.
Rangers will be aiming to compete for the Scottish Premiership title with Old Firm rivals Celtic next season.
