Having missed out on Emre Mor... Liverpool fans were impressed with his Euro 2016 bow.
Turkey's Emre Mor comes on as a substitute to replace Cenk Tosun
Emre Mor produced a lively performance after coming off the bench in Turkey's Euro 2016 opener against Croatia.
He could not prevent his side from losing 1-0 to the Croats, but could have put himself in line for a more prominent role in their remaining group matches.
Mor is a player who has just clinched a move to Borussia Dortmund, The BBC reported last week, with the German side seeing off interest from Liverpool.
Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp
ESPN reported in early June that Liverpool were the favourites to sign Mor from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland, who had impressed in their first team at just 18, earning international honours.
Despite this the Reds did not push through a deal, and manager Jurgen Klopp was beaten to Mor's signature by his former side.
Mor featured for the final 20 minutes of the clash against Croatia, and while he was unable to find the pass he wanted to unlock the opposition defence, it was not for a lack of trying, always attempting to find a teammate during his limited time in possession, and causing problems with his clever movement.
Here is a look at how Liverpool fans reacted to his performance via Twitter...
