Chelsea are interested in signing Dimitri Payet from London rivals West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.

It has been reported that Chelsea recently asked about the France international attacking midfielder.

However, according to the report, at the moment Payet does not fancy a move away from West Ham.

Should Dimitri Payet leave for Chelsea?

Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and next season they could well win the Premier League title.

Under new manager Antonio Conte, the London outfit will be expected to challenge for the league title, and it would come as a surprise if they miss out on a top-four finish.

Playing with the likes of Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and John Terry could be tempting for Payet, who was one of the best players in the Premier League this past season.

While the attraction of joining the Blues is there, it must be remembered that the Hammers will play in front of over 50,000 fans at the Olympic Stadium next season.

There is something special going on at West Ham, who could make a push for a top-four finish in the Premier League during the 2016-17 campaign.
