New Bolton Wanderers manager Phil Parkinson is happy to sign off on the deal taking Rob Holding to Arsenal, so long as he is allowed to replace him, reports the Daily Mail.

The youngster was one of the more impressive performers for Bolton last season as they were relegated from the Championship into League One.

His displays have caught the eye of several Premier League sides, who were all thought to be interested in his services this summer.

Arsenal are the only ones to have made an official move for his services though, with a £1.5 million bid thought to be on the table for the youngster.

So far a deal has not been concluded for Holding, presumably because Bolton were waiting to secure their next manager.

That has now been sorted as Phil Parkinson moved from Bradford City, and according to the Daily Mail he is happy to sign off the deal, but on one key condition.

That condition is that he is given the funds to suitably replenish his squad for their upcoming League One campaign. It appears he will be allowed to do just that this summer and Holding may end up at the Emirates at some point.
