The French international was incredible against Romania last night.
France won the opening game of the European Championships last night with Premier League players featuring prominently.
Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud scored their opening goal whilst Les Bleus and Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris made a fantastic save.
Meanwhile Dimitri Payet was sensational, assisting the opener and scoring a magnificent winning goal.
But Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante would have once again found himself many more admirers after this incredible display in central midfield.
The Leicester star, who was integral to the club winning the Premier League title last season, was superb in the heart of midfield – breaking up several Romania attacks and covering every inch of the Stade de France.
It was a performance his Leicester teammates will be familiar with and left-back Christian Fuchs, who will be captaining Austria in France, sent out this tweet today to celebrate Kante’s achievements:
Why Avignon? That is where Austria are based and it seems Fuchs is insinuating that even after 90 minutes of play yesterday his Leicester team-mate could have run the 657km journey on foot.

Leicester fans will of course be pleased to see their talent playing so well but it will also fill them with a sense of dread.
He has been strongly linked with a move away from the King Power this summer and performances like this will only attract buyers.
