France's Dimitri Payet celebrates after the game
The midfielder was in fine form on the Euro 2016 opener as he starred in the hosts 2-1 victory in the opening game of the tournament.
It was his goal that sealed the game, as he hit a delightful curling effort from outside the box to restore his side’s lead after Romania had equalised from the penalty spot.
It was nothing short of magical from the West Ham star, but no surprise for those who have seen him starring in the Premier League this past season.
His display earned plenty of praise from fans and pundits alike, and Jenas was one of those who lauded him on Twitter.

Payet will now be hoping that he can continue the form he showed against Romania for the rest of this summer’s showpiece.
The pressure is firmly upon France as the hosts and they will need their star men, of whom Payet is certainly among, at the top of their game to seal a win on home turf.
He showed his ability in the opening game, and will be keen to do it again for the rest of the summer.
