Valencia has been on the books of West Ham since the summer of 2014 and has a contract until June 2019.
The 26-year-old former Pachuca forward has revealed that he would love to play in La Liga one day in the future.
"I see a lot of the Spanish League and I think I could play there,” Valencia told Marca.com. “Of course I would love to be in one of the best leagues in the world.
“In Spain most teams play very well, trying to have possession and then look for the opposite goal. It is a very showy league.”
Valencia scored four goals and created 12 chances in 19 Premier League appearances for West Ham this past season.
The forward had a pass accuracy of 75% and a shot accuracy of 48%, and won 23 headers, 15 dribbles and 13 tackles.
During the 2014-15 campaign, Valencia scored four goals and created 17 chances in 32 league matches for the Hammers.
The Ecuador international had a pass accuracy of 77% and a shot accuracy of 47%, and won 41 headers, 39 dribbles and 24 tackles.
