Payet was one of the best players in the Premier League this past season, and it seems that he has simply carried that form into the European Championship in his home country of France.
The former Marseille star scored nine goals and created 116 chances in 30 Premier League appearances for West Ham during the 2015-16 season.
The Frenchman attempted five dribbles and created eight chances against Romania on Friday evening.
