Quoted by Goal, Brazil coach Dunga says they have told Philippe Coutinho to play for Brazil like he does for Liverpool.

He had only ever scored one international gold before the trio of strikes, further highlighting just how impressive a performance is was from the 23-year-old.

And Dunga says that he believes the Liverpool midfielder is growing in confidence, adding that they have told him to play for Brazil as he does for the Reds.

"Coutinho is taking advantage of his opportunity. He has been following us," Goal quotes him as saying.

"Every game and every practice his confidence is growing. We talked with him for him to be the Coutinho of Liverpool, dictate play, lead and take risks."

Unfortunately for Liverpool, Coutinho’s impressive performances could see them face a fight to keep him this summer.

The Brazilian has already been linked with both Barcelona and PSG this summer, with the latter thought to be very keen.

His latest display is only likely to have ramped up that reported interest at it will be interesting to see if any of the big European sides make a move for his signature.
