Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has told Dafabet UK that Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba will be a key player for France at the Euro 2016 finals.

Pogba is one of the best players on the planet and is a world-class midfielder.

The former Manchester United star is an important player for France, who will be aiming to win the European Championship on home soil.

Lukaku believes that Pogba will light up the tournament in France and has praised the 23-year-old.

“I think Pogba is going to be really good at the European Championship,” Lukaku told Dafabet UK when asked who can light up the European Championship.

“I don’t know why. He is a very good friend of mine, but I think he is going to be one of the main guys at this tournament.”

Pogba scored eight goals and created 54 chances in 35 Serie A appearances for Juventus this past season.

The France international midfielder had a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 37%, and won 63 headers, 102 dribbles and 55 tackles.

Lukaku will also be expected to be a star at the European Championship this month and will lead the line for Belgium.

The former Chelsea striker scored 18 goals and created 51 chances in 37 Premier League matches for Everton during the 2015-16 campaign.

The 23-year-old had a pass accuracy of 73% and a shot accuracy of 56%, and won 93 headers, 41 dribbles and seven tackles.
