The Dutch international signed for AZ last summer, and after an initially slow start to like in the Eredivisie, he ended the campaign with a stunning 29 goals in all competitions.

He already has three goals in five games for the Netherlands national team - including one against England - and his exploits appear to have attracted major interest.

The Mirror reported earlier this week that Janssen is on the verge of a £12m move to join Tottenham Hotspur, and flew into London to hear a proposal from the club.

Janssen would become Harry Kane's deputy at White Hart Lane, and whilst that is still a great move, many Arsenal fans want him in the red half of North London instead.

The Gunners are also in the market for a new striker, and are currently focusing their attentions on Leicester's Jamie Vardy - but supporters want them to hijack Spurs' deal for Janssen.
