West Ham United have been linked with some top players this week.
West Ham United have been linked with a number of players already this summer, with their manager Slaven Bilic likely to significantly strengthen his squad ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium next season.
The Hammers enjoyed a superb year after Bilic’s arrival but they will not want to stand still, and bringing in the right players will be crucial.
Here we take a look at the top five players to have been linked with West Ham this week:
According to a report from France Football, West Ham are planning a substantial bid for Lille left-back Djibril Sidibe.
The 23-year-old played 43 times for the Ligue 1 club last season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in the process.
His versatility means he would be a welcome addition to the club although Aaron Cresswell will not lose his spot on the left without a fight.
Jeremy Pied is a 27-year-old right-back who currently plays for Nice.
According to France Football the Hammers and Sunderland are both interested in bringing him to England with the player out of contract this summer.
For free he would be quite a coup, having clocked up 150 Ligue 1 appearances to date, scoring seven goals and providing 20 assists in that time.
The striker featured just nine times last season due to a cruciate ligament injury but he still managed four goals in that time and he has since returned to full fitness.
At his best he is a great player and West Ham would do well to bring him in before someone else does.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder currently plays for Dinamo Zagreb, where he is contracted until the summer of 2020, but they may find it hard to reject a substantial bid for the player despite his importance to the team.
The 40-capped Algerian international made 220 appearances for Valencia, scoring 31 goals and providing 40 assists in the process, and he would be a big hit at West Ham if he arrived.
