Ligue 1 side Monaco are eyeing Liverpool defender Kolo Toure when his Liverpool exit is confirmed, reports the Daily Mail.
The defender is set to leave the club this summer, with a new contract unlikely to be offered by Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The German has already added Joel Matip to his squad and another central defender may arrive in the summer transfer window.

They had considered offering Toure a coaching role to continue his stay on Merseyside but the 35-year-old is keen to continue his playing career instead.
That has alerted Monaco, who could make a move for the defender once his exit from Anfield is officially confirmed, according to the Daily Mail.

The French side are keen to add some experience into their relatively young squad and Toure would be an idea signing in that regard.
They already have 38-year-old Ricardo Carvalho in their first team and presumably Toure would be brought in to play alongside him.
Monaco are not the only ones interested in his services though, with reports last week suggesting he also has lucrative offers from the Chinese Super League on the table.
