The teenager recently became the youngest player ever to score on their England debut, and is proving a hit with fans.

Marcus Rashford will head to Euro 2016 as England's second-most popular striker with fans, at least if replica shirt sales at UKSoccerShop are anything to go by.

Figures from the retail site suggest there has been a clamour for England shirts emblazoned with the young striker's name since his place in Roy Hodgson's squad was confirmed.

Rashford shirts have accounted for 15 per cent of all England tops sold on the site, placing the youngster ahead of Jamie Vardy and Manchester United team-mate Wayne Rooney.

Since bursting onto the scene with a brace on his Manchester United debut back in February, the 18-year-old has earned plenty of plaudits with a series of impressive performance for the Red Devils, netting eight goals in 18 games.

His stock rose even further when he became the youngest England player to score on their debut by scoring against Australia last week.

It seems his good form has generated plenty of enthusiasm among England fans, with Rashford only behind Jack Wilshere and Harry Kane in the latest replica shirt charts.

If he can shine during the European Championships in France this summer, his popularity with fans will only continue to surge.
