It is that time of season again, when heads roll at football clubs up and down the country.

Tomorrow will see the released and retained lists for Premier League clubs announced and the Liverpool Echo has today highlighted the players expected to be walking from Melwood this summer.

They report that Kolo Toure, as expected, will be leaving the club – and also suggested a few other names.

Joao Teixeira is one of them. After impressing on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion a knee injury scuppered his progress. He made some advances this term, even scoring his first goal for the club. However, at the age of 23 he has clearly decided it is time for first-team football elsewhere.

The report does state that Liverpool will be due compensation.

Jordan Rossiter and Jerome Sinclair, who have agreed moves to Rangers and Watford will feature on the list.

Jose Enrique, who has already departed, is set to be on it as well as youngsters Dan Cleary and Daniel Trickett-Smith. Both have trained with the first-team but are not set to remain at Liverpool going forward, the latter already agreeing to play his football in the USA.

Finally, they report that Samed Yesil, once a massive prospect after joining from Bayer Leverkusen, will also be released. Knee injuries have ravaged his Liverpool career and the Echo report he is hoping for a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.

There will no doubt be other names on the list but it seems that, along with Rossiter and Sinclair, these six players will also be leaving Liverpool at the end of the month.

Liverpool fans will no doubt wish them all the best.
