According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Southampton are not concerned about losing Sadio Mane, following Ronald Koeman’s departure.
Koeman is set to join Everton in the coming days, and there are fears that the Dutchman's departure could spark a mass exodus from St. Mary’s.
Victor Wanyama and Shane Long have both been linked with moves away from Southampton, and are believed to be disappointed by Koeman’s exit.
Mane, however, is set to be offered a new deal and Southampton are optimistic that he will commit his future.
Mane reportedly had a strained relationship with Koeman, because he felt that 53-year-old boss had made him a scapegoat.
Koeman publicly criticised Mane on more than one occasion last season, and the winger was allegedly disappointed with the comments.
Mane has been linked with Manchester United recently, but Southampton are hopeful of keeping hold of him for another year.
The Saints are determined to retain their star players this summer, as they look to build on their sixth placed finish from last season.
