The club are determined to get him signed to a new deal, and have offered him a new contract to extend his stay at the Emirates.
However, the player is yet to agree on new terms, and there have been reports of European giants such as Bayern Munich eyeing a move for the Chilean as a result.
And Parlour admits that he is worried about the forward’s future at Arsenal, insisting they need to keep him if they want to win the title next season.
“I was a little bit worried about him come the end of the season,” he told talkSPORT.
“Will he want to move on and go somewhere different? He’s top quality and you want to keep those sort of players if you’re going to be looking at the title next season.”

It will certainly be interesting to see if Sanchez commits to a new deal this summer, with Arsenal sure to be anxiously hoping he does.
He cut a frustrated figure last season, and may have been left questioning his future at the club as he saw their title challenge collapse in the second half of the campaign.
If the interest from the likes of Bayern is genuine, then they could face a fight to keep him, and perhaps he is waiting to see what work the club do in the transfer window before committing long-term.
